Auditorium Maximum
The Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University is a modern conference and lecture centre located on Krupnicza Street, in the heart of the University’s Second Campus. Opened in 2005, it features a main hall for up to 1,200 participants (divisible into two 600-seat sections), along with several smaller rooms for 100–250 people.
Equipped with advanced technical facilities and full catering and sanitary amenities, it is one of Kraków’s key venues for academic and cultural events. The building’s award-winning design was created by the Wizja architectural studio and co-financed by the European Union and the state budget.
How to get?
Getting by bus
Kraków-Balice Airport
From the airport, take bus line 300 towards the city centre. Get off at the “Muzeum Narodowe 4” stop (the fourth stop from the airport). From there, it’s about a 600-metre walk to the Auditorium Maximum (approximately 7 minutes on foot).
The bus runs every 20 minutes.
Kraków Główny Railway Station
From Kraków Główny railway station, take bus line 179. Get off at the “AGH/UR 2” stop (the fifth stop from the station). From there, it’s about a 300-metre walk to the Auditorium Maximum (approximately 4 minutes on foot).
The bus runs every 5 minutes.

Getting by taxi
To reach the Auditorium Maximum, you can use one of the many taxi services operating in Kraków. The most convenient option is to book a ride via popular mobile apps such as Bolt or Uber, which are widely available in the city. Both services offer competitive prices, estimated arrival times, and the ability to pay directly through the app.
Taxis are generally available at Kraków-Balice Airport, Kraków Główny railway station, and throughout the city centre. Travel time to the Auditorium Maximum depends on traffic but typically takes 20–30 minutes from the airport and 10–15 minutes from the main train station.
